Non-vanilla tames not eating from food troughs from other mods.

1. Tame a boar and a deer.
2. Build a trough from any food trough mod that is not BetrValheim.
3. The boar will eat fine, the deer will not.

I am now noticing, however, that animals that your mod allows to be tamed don't eat from feeding troughs. I tested it with some other feeding trough mods and other mods that allow taming of other creatures... they seem to all play nice except yours. Is that something in regards to needing the "betrvalheim" mod too, or do you think something else is going on there?

(As an example, using Corewood Extras mod that has a feeding trough, all vanilla creatures are fine. But creatures tamed with your mod won't eat from them (such as Hares or Deer). But if I use the Tamable Deer or Tamable Bear or Tamable Hare mods, they all interact with the feeding trough fine. I tried a couple of other feeding trough mods, and same results.

Also going to add (though this is less of an issue) that non-vanilla tames also do not interact well with the "Leash Me" mod. Not sure that is something you can fix or not, or if it is for them, but just reporting it anyway!!!

Good news: I’ve just made it so deer and hares eat from the CoreWoodExtras troughs too, just like your other tames. You can try it right away: I’ve attached a test version, BetrTame 0.1.6. Just import the zip in r2modman (Settings → Import local mod) or drop it in by hand. If you play on a server, the server and every player need it.

All other BetrTame tames, like greydwarfs, trolls or bears, should already eat from those troughs.

Leash Me is a different story: it only works with animals like wolves and boars, so deer and hares can’t be leashed for now.

Tip: BetrTame works best together with BetrValheim. They’re made to fit together: BetrValheim has its own feeding trough that every BetrTame animal eats from, your tames come along through its portals, and all BetrTame settings show up right in BetrValheim’s F11 menu.
